My name is Curtis Michaud and I am an aspiring sports journalist. I am originally from Miami,  where I obtained my associate degree at Broward College. I transferred to the University of Florida to pursue my bachelor's degree in journalism. I know what you're thinking, why Florida? I have always admired the the slew of great journalists who graduated from this institution. Also, attending a top-5 university in the country has benefitted me immensely.  The chance to learn and interact with like-minded individuals who are striving to make it in the media business is why I wanted to become a Gator.  Growing up, I have always played sports like football, basketball and baseball. I’ve also been writing for as long as I can remember. Today, I am privileged to have combined both of my passions at the UF College of Journalism and Communications. The desire of publishing well-written content for viewers from around the globe is an aspect of journalism that intrigues me dearly. I have roughly a year until I officially graduate. Go Gators.
